The story behind TELEO & Co.
A founder-led, bilingual Christian formation company creating Scripture-governed resources for women who want to live what they are learning.
Libertad “Libby” VargasFounder & Author
Hi, I’m Libertad — Libby for short
I write the resources I needed: Scripture first, honest reflection second, and one faithful step at the end.
Ever since I was a little girl I have been reading everything I could get my hands on and writing through everything I was walking through. For years I used words to process, pray, and find my way back to God’s truth.
I loved Bible studies and devotionals, but eventually God began placing something new in my heart: to create resources from what He was teaching me personally — in English and in Spanish, for women who do not need more spiritual information so much as help living from what is already true.
A quiet whisper in a noisy season
“Slow down. Be still. Abide.”
TELEO & Co. was born in 2021 out of those three sentences. I was afraid to put this work into the world, but I am learning to walk in faith and obedience, trusting that God will lead and provide as I keep showing up.
The name comes from the Greek teleo — to complete, to finish, to carry through to the end. It is a reminder that the work God begins in a woman is His to finish, and that our part is faithful response rather than frantic effort.
What began as personal journaling is now a small company with a clear job: help women move from knowing biblical truth to living it faithfully, with resources beautiful enough to keep and practical enough to actually use.
Why TELEO exists
TELEO & Co. exists to create Scripture-governed formation resources that help women slow down, abide in Christ, renew their minds through truth, and walk in faithful obedience.
Theological and ministry convictions
These eight convictions decide what we make, what we decline to make, and how we speak to the women we serve.
Scripture First
Every resource begins and ends with God’s Word. Our reflections serve the text; they never sit above it.
Christ at the Center
Formation is not self-improvement. It is being changed by, and into the likeness of, Jesus Christ.
Grace Before Striving
We rest in grace before we ever respond in obedience. Nothing here is earned by effort.
Obedience as a Response to Grace
Obedience is not how we earn God’s love. It is how we respond to the grace we have already received in Christ.
Beauty With Purpose
Beauty is not vanity; it draws the heart toward the Maker and makes a resource one you return to.
Faithful Stewardship
We steward this work, these words, and these women with care — and we would rather leave a detail blank than overstate it.
Church-Connected Formation
Our resources point women back to Scripture and into the life of a local church, never away from it.
Women Seen and Served With Care
Every woman is seen, known, and encouraged here. You are safe here.
TELEO resources are not a replacement for Scripture, the local church, pastoral care, medical care, or professional counseling. We say so plainly because we believe it.
A formation rhythm—not another checklist
Five movements repeated in every devotional, journal, study, and gathering we create.
Teach
Receive God’s truth through Scripture.
Examine
Honestly notice what is happening in your heart in light of God’s Word.
Listen
Create space for prayerful reflection governed by Scripture.
Elevate
Allow biblical truth to reshape your thinking and become your new normal.
Obey
Respond to God’s grace with one faithful step.
Obedience is not how we earn God’s love. It is how we respond to the grace we have already received in Christ.
Who these resources are for
If you have highlighted more than you have practiced, you are exactly who this was written for.
- Christian women who want biblically grounded growth rather than motivational encouragement
- Spanish-speaking and bilingual women who want to study in the language they pray in
- Women’s ministry leaders looking for cohesive, Scripture-governed material
- Small-group facilitators who need a rhythm volunteers can actually lead
- Women in a noisy season who need help slowing down long enough to abide
